Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Derale 2-Pass Tube-Fin Power Steering Cooler. Now, this tube-fin cooler is the simplest type of heat exchanger, it'll effectively cool a variety of automotive systems. It is designed with half inch diameter copper tubing, which expands into the aluminum fins here for maximum heat transfer, and the copper is the best material for conducting the heat out of the fluid, and the aluminum fins is ideal for transferring and dissipating that heat. Concepts pretty simple, basically, the fluid will come in, go through the tubes, and it cools as it travels through the core by transferring the heat out to these fins, and then these fins will provide the surface area necessary for sufficient heat exchange to take place, so it allows the heat to be pulled from that fluid to dissipate into the surrounding air. It is very quick, easy, and effective. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Derale 14 inch heat sync power steering cooler with the installation kit. Now this cooler will help extend the life and improve functioning of your power steering applications. It is an all aluminum design for a nice high heat transfer. It'll absorb and then dissipate the heat effectively through both internal and external heat dissipating aluminum fins. The cooler core will flow in either direction, so on these ends where your ports are, the inlet and outlet port, it doesn't matter which one's which. You can use it for either one. more

Today we're going to take a look at the Derale Series 7000 Tube-Fin Power Steering Cooler Kit with the Hose Barb Inlets. Now this will improve functioning and overall performance of your power steering system. It is designed with copper tubing expanded into aluminum fins for maximum heat transfer. Copper's your best material for conducting the heat out of the fluid, while aluminum's ideal for transferring and dissipating that heat. It is protected from possible damage during installation by the plastic fin guards and a nice powder coat finish.This part will include everything laid out here on the table: the cooler with the mounting brackets, a 4' long high temperature OEM spec hose with the stainless steel k-clamps to install it, the nylon mounting rods with pads, and a nice set of installation instructions that will describe how to install everything.This part is made in the U.S.A. A few specs again, the inlets are 11/32" hose barbs. more
